Bacon Wrapped Dates
with Goat's Cheese
Sometimes, for all my determination to come up with something new and original for the dinners I prepare, it is the old "classics" that get the best reaction. That is definitely true of this simple but always popular appetizer. The crunch of the bacon, the savory note of sage, the sweetness of the dates and the creamy tang of goat's cheese, make this the most addictive of canapes.
